We have received this cup which also has an outstanding design itself, in the Diporthesis contest which is arranged by Aspronadi. Aspronadi; The Recreational Yacht Association of Italy is giving this reward in two categories; motoryacht and sailboat. The contest is open to yacht design students from all over the world. The prize giving ceremony was held in Genoa Boat Show this year. |
You can read more about the project and the award from the Awards section or by clicking on the logos.
Another happy event is that the Italian magazine "Luce e design" has mentioned our project about the yacht lighting subject in their last issue. |
We are also very happy to share the same subject on the "Luce e design" magazine with our close friends' design "Leiurus 60".
Now only one picture below but you will find more details on this modern sail boat very soon on these pages...

Hi everyone!
This is a great time to start my new blog from my website. For some years , I am sharing posts about all kinds of design from another blog, which you can visit by clicking the logo below.
The name is Salt X Pepper; meaning that design is the salt and pepper of life, It is not a must but if you have it then you have the appetite for life.
In that blog I share all kinds of design, from interiors to cars, helicopters to stationary and of course yachts as well. But here, I will be posting entries mostly about what is going on in my own business and in the yachting sector.
I hope you enjoy and keep connected!

Hurray !... Monaco Yacht Show
This year is going to be the 26th time that this spectacular country is housing the show of the year. The show starts on September the 28; and will end on October the 1st this year. As for the timing, isn't it a great way to end the summer, where you can see all the beauties side by side, saying farewell to the pals right before starting the cold and boring winter? |
Just click Monaco Yacht Show and get more information from the official web site; where all photos and information are taken from.
This year 580 companies will exhibit in the show from manufacturers to brokers. Besides; there will be 125 yachts present in Monte Carlo for the show. For the world premiere we will be seeing 40 yachts. So there will be a lot to see, admire and to talk about during and after the show.
Below are only 4 of these super yachts.

Two Boat Shows in One City...
Well, that's not all for the boat shows for this month. Unluckily on the same date two boat shows are going to be held in Istanbul.
Both of them are organized in marinas so there will be many boats in the water, which is for good.
The other important issue is that these marinas are on two ends of the city, literally!
The distance between them is around 65 km and that would require quite a journey to make if you want to attend both shows in the same day.
The good part is that the huge part of the journey can be made from the Marmara sea which would be incredibly relaxing and joyful.
